Show #4: Preview of Carnage 12

This show starts off with Mark opening up a dusty old box.  After that, we give you a preview of the upcoming Carnage gaming convention, to be held at the Lake Morey Resort in Fairly Vermont November 6-8.  Jeff describes the Carnage convention based on past experience, and then we both walk through the pre-registration book and describe what we see as a few highlights.

  • Thanks, Duncan! I have actually been thinking quite a bit about building my own. This gives me some design ideas. Are you doing any gaming these days?

  • I\'m really enjoying the Dusty old box of something bit you guys are doing at the start of all \".0\" shows. As soon as you described the box contents of Enemy in Sight, I knew exactly what that was-- the description of the captain pointing the spyglass the wrong way was almost redundant!

  • I am *almost* in the same boat (no pun intended) as Mr. Nizz. I could TOTALLY picture the box lid (I even remembered that it was mostly pink-salmon color), but could not nail-down the game title. The whole time I was thinking \"No! Don\'t tell me! Don\'t tell me!!!\" Then, as soon as you said it, it all came back to me. I love this game, and although it has been years and years since I played it I have MANY great memories of it. I only wish I could find a copy of it on Ebay. Great podcast, Mark and Jeff!! -Capt J ;-)
